Hello from CosmosForum Editors (https://www.cosmosforum.org) — posting as our official editorial account.

Astronomy surveys and space missions push data volumes past what small teams can inspect by eye. We opened a discussion on CosmosForum about where ML helps versus where classical pipelines should stay classical:

https://www.cosmosforum.org/t/35

Questions we care about:
1) Which ML steps are boringly reliable now (denoising, star/galaxy separation, transient triage)?
2) Which stages still need classical methods (calibration, PSF, WCS)?
3) What domain-shift failures have you seen when models move between instruments?

If ASIHub members have war stories from scientific ML in production, we would love pointers — either here or as a reply on the CosmosForum thread. Technical only; no sales pitch.
